Treehouse

Last Saturday we had dinner with the AIR buddies at The Treehouse in Kalayaan. I wouldn't go back or recommend the place. Bad service, Small servings that really cost too much. sinigang na hipon was the most ok among the food we ordered but i find it too expensive since it costs 290 for a small palayok! not worth it! sisig? not to die for, not even to look forward to. chicken? tasteless. pancit bihon was ok, their chopsuey tastes good, servings too small. Our general assembly went well, new set officer, new sets of activities. What's in store ahead, is still unknown to us but all of us only hopes for one thing and that's continuous friendship and more RIDES!!! dinner was bad enough but because kasama namin ang AIR buddies, pwde na rin! Cheers for another successful AIR event!

Pupung

After shopping at MOA's midnight sale, we decided to check out Pupung's. I ordered bangus belly, Garry (my bro) ordered for lechon kawali, Emer choose inihaw na liempo and Carol (my sis) ordered sisig. We have two side dish tokwa’t baboy and mango salad with crispy pork. As usual we share our meals. I love their liempo, sisig’s ok, inihaw na liempo’s good, my bangus is great. But what really makes my meal a thumbs up is because of their mango salad with pork. The best! I love it! A must try! I could eat a whole bowl of it, yummy! I love their marketing strategy and that is to make their customer satisfied, nice staff, good food. I’m really sure I’ll go out of my way to visit pupung’s again!

Geri's Grill + Igmaan

saturday was my younger sister's birthday, I am a fan of Congo's while she's raves Geri's. I don't like their service that's why Emer and I don't frequent the place. anyway, we had dinner at geri's blue wave. urgh! I was right! there's still problem with their service. We have to call them a lot of times before serving us refills for ice tea, syempre their sisig are good but still not comparable with congo (which is the best sisig for me), Dencio's inihaw na pusit are better pero ok din naman ang sa Geri's. actually their food are good, I would've love it if not only for their services. blue wave branch, timog branch! err! all their waiters needs more training!
sunday, after the first Asian Biker's Exhibit, we had lunch at Dampa. We had paluto at IGMAAN, it was a big disaster! their aircon don't work and their calamares are over cooked. I still prefer Trinity and G squared over all the paluto resto we have tried.

the devil wears prada

last friday we watched devil wears prada. who wouldn't want to have fabulous calvin klein's skirts or blouse from dolce and gabanna or bags from prada? well at least most people love it. andrea, having her own sense of fashion doesn't really care about anything she wears until she have landed a job at runway. she had a job as the editor in chief assistant. Miranda having the biggest name in the industry, and Andrea having the dream job of almost every girl. it's a feel good movie. i really love how they deliver the story. light but have real meaning of life. a story that can actually happen in reality and lessons that can really be learned. as always, i love meryll strip acting, indeed she portrays her role very well, the devil. i love how she gave life to miranda, strict, strong personality but she still got a soft heart. Miranda, a young lady now grow up and ready to face the real life of hollywood. I just so love Anne Hathaway, when she leave disney i really thought she had a bad descision, her disney film are always a sold out, ella enchanted, princess diaries 1 and 2 but her debut outside disney really proves that she's growing. she can act, dance and sing and i really think she will still have more movies to come.
