Farley for My Ento Gowns

At Last! I already found my entourage gown maker. Farley, knows how to design but mostly his clients gives him pictures for him to copy. We went to Farley yesterday, his place is not easy to find especially for first timer like us. After an hour of searching we finally reach Farley's place, I was a little bit hesitant to get him because of his place being inaccessible but when I saw some of his finish products I was really amazed on how well he can deliver especially at a very very low and affordable price. He uses not so expensive beads but the way he does the bead works it really puts a lot of class into to it. We already set schedule for the measurement taking and on November 11, everything will finally put into places. as for now, all we have to do is look for prospective designs and have it re-sketch by Farley for more improvements. The color of my entourage gowns will be lilac and some touch of pink. For the mother's are violet two toned with pink and for the ninang's, it will be the color fuchsia.

wedding nightmares

grabe na ito! So stress na ba ako lately dahil sa mga sabay sabay na errands or talaga namang wedding jitters na ang tawag dito. last night, I dream about my wedding naman ulit and every scenario keeps on getting worst and worst. I remember before that I dream that we get married and don't have money to pay for the suppliers, tapos I also dream of getting married at a house then last night I dream of a very funny yet an I-don't-want-to-happen-scenario. hindi ko na ieelaborate dahil nakakatamad ikwento basta ang alam ko those dreams are the scene that will definitely be a living nightmare for me if ever it happened. natatawa na nga rin ako e, oa ba to or ganito talaga pag malapit na yun wedding, kung ano ano pumapasok sa isip ko. Parang tuloy nagpapahiwatig na dapat ata we hire an OTD coordinator na kasi some things might actually happen. Sabagay, sa totoo lang OTD nowadays is really a must, pero if I weigh things naman I actually got a lot of friends and family who's willing to help me out on the day pero iba pa rin un may professional help! un nga lang kelangan din magbigay ng professional fee. ok lang naman kaso minsan nakakatakot rin na baka ang ma hire namin na group e sumablay, sobrang dami ko na rin kasing nababasa, naririnig at nakikitang naghire ng coordinator pero para naman wala, although meron din naman successful.
Wedding jitters na kaya ang tawag dito, well... I'm a hundred and one percent sure to marry Emer naman pero minsan bigla ko lang naiisip tama ba ito? sabi nila normal lang. Minsan tuloy naiisip ko that I'm not being fair with Emer kasi nga naiisip ko ang mga ganong bagay. I really hope that all the stress and thoughts that keeps on bugging me will get the hell outta my mind. siguro i just need a day off. pamper me time again!

My Couture: Jorge Palmos

I remember blogging about finally the search is over, the hunt is over, that I already found my gown designer. Yes, indeed I have. I went back to Jorge two weeks ago to pay for the down payment of my wedding gown. He revised the sketch. Olie took my measurements and after some chicka's and kwento we finally bid goodbye. Emer and my brother went to Amber's to buy some Pichi-Pichi and pancit for take out, so my sister and I were left with the Palmos to talk about my wedding gown. As much as I wanted to post the sketch I can't because my h2b reads my blog and I really want to surprise him with what will my gown looked like. He saw the first sketch and gladly, when Jorge made a better sketch, he wasn't there. I am so excited for my first fitting by the end of November or first week of December. I really hope to loose more more weight. Well... I am confident that the Palmos will make a good good gown, hopefully for me to look thinner too...

I saw a bride to be fit her wedding gown (not final fitting ha!) and she looks stunning. another w@wie sis, send me some pics of her second fitting and she simply looks adorable. So far no bad feedbacks about the alterations and the fittings.

Jorge have already won several awards and he took courses from other countries. One reason why I am really confident that he will meet my expectation. and also another reason why at first I thought that his gowns are impossible to reach, I am really glad that he was referred to me by a lot of co-w@wies, to name a few are sis Gailie and sis Joanne. Quiapo after a decade

Matagal na akong hindi nakakapunta ng Quiapo, as in super tagal na, kung kelan un last time? hindi ko na maalala basta ang alam malamang e lagpas isang dekada na! malaki na ang pinagkaiba, noon naaalala ko puro damit, pagkain, at kung ano ano pa, pero ngayon bawat lingon ko may nagbebentang pirated cd at mga gamit galing Tsina. nakakatamad na rin dahil naging twice ang dami ng taong nanduon. maputik pa rin at masikip pero may improvements na din kahit papaano.
Kahapon pumunta kami ng aking little brother sa Quiapo to look for PS2 games, syempre ako naman si adik na talagang looking for another version of dance dance revolution, sawa na kasi ako sa ddr supernova ko e, balita ko may supernova 2 na. grrr... after namin maglakad sa putik, maglakad sa ilalim ng init ng araw at last nakarating din kami. pero guess what??? all effort go down to waste, dang! walang ddr na cd grrrrr.... ayun tuloy ang binili na lang namin ay un crush and the titans na lang. ok lang yun game pero d ako excited e kasi naman i really hope to have a new ddr cd. grrrr.... kaya umuwi kaming luhaan. pero dibale nakakain naman kami ng tag 2 sticks ng isaw, pwde na rin, masarap na rin, pero the best pa rin talaga ang fried isaw na nasa kanto ng bahay namin.

Q-Tsin - At Last!

Hindi ko alam kung Q-tsin (pamamanhikan) pa bang matatawag ito but last night our family and his family have officially meet.
We are already almost done with our preparations for the wedding pero last night lang nag meet ang family namin, weird no? hehehe We had dinner at Flavor's of China at T. Morato.
well... the night naman is not boring, my parents and Emer's parents talk about nothing but about getting older, herbal medicines, etc. Since we're already almost done with the preps wala na rin naman silang importanteng pag uusapan and since lahat naman kami agreed to have a simple wedding hindi na rin nag demand ang parents ko, practical wise diba? we'd rather keep the rest of the money than spend big just for a day sympre kelangan ng isipin ang future malay natin in no time after the wedding e magka-baby na rin kami ni Emer. toinks!
For formality, his family gave us a cake, a dozen of apples and a dozen of oranges.

My PS2 Slim

Yey! we already bought ps2 slim! yeah i know we're so 2000 and ps2 is already so jurrasic. ps3's already out in the market but it's way way way expensive. All I wanted was to loose weight! how? by dancing and playing dance revolution. we wanted to buy wee but Emer prefer ps2 over wee because with ps2 we can still play games, wee only got (if i'm right) dancing pad, boxing, baseball and etc. no games.
Since going to the gym requires more time and money we decided to just buy PS2. Initially, I wanted to enroll to a hip hop class. I know DDR can make me loose more weight, it's all about proper diet, cardio and determination. phew!

Our Church

After the long long wait, we already booked Santisimo Rosario Parish last week! Since our wedding is still on the feb of 2008, people in charge that they only accept reservation for 2008 starting October 1.

There are lotsa lotsa requirements, first stop is to get application form for marriage license, and then we also have to post marriage banns. There's also pre-cana seminar to be held on a whole day of Sunday. We should also get Cenomar and Conformation certificates. Emer is not yet confirmed (if that's the term) so we have to check out churches with easiest requirements.

I never thought getting married requires a lot of documents. I'm already stress out with the preps and at the same time we have to finish these documents.

But Anyways, I'm really really happy that we already booked our church

AVP

I'm thinking to make an additional avp of me and Emer for our wedding. We got Kix to do our avp for pre-nup and Bim to do our onsite. Since we have to rent a projector, we might as well make the most of it. booking an avp supplier is not on our budget list, so I told myself that i might as well do it myself, I am not artistic and that's one big problem. God answered prayer talaga si sis Jhen (from w@w), when I read her message offering free AVP's for co-w@wies, I didn't had a second thought of asking her. I'm so so so glad that she told me she can work mine, I emailed her all the pictures and the song I wanted for the AVP, and guess what, when I checked my email today I was so happy to read that she's already finish with my AVP, (just for a night ha!)
I wanted to blab about it but I said to myself that showing AVP on our wedding day itself is more exciting... and that was few hours ago! now I'm already writing this blog, super kulit not to follow my original plan or should i? oh my! But HECK! most of my friends who are invited don't really read my blog anyway! here's the link of the video...
