Bohol Adventure

Let me start with the kuwento. We're a group of 5, my brother Garry, his friends Mike and Arnel, Emer and I took off to Tagbilaran last July 18, 2007. We avail Tata Rabe's package of 3300 per pax for the accomodation 3 days and 2 nights, land transfer, land and sea tour. There are few misunderstanding with regards to the package but anyway, the nice service and the beauty of Bohol is compensated by the misunderstanding. Emer and I took the Cebu Pacific Flight while the 3 took Pal flight, since our flight was an hour earlier, our tour guide pick us up at the airport and drop us at Jollibee for a quick breakfast.
When the others arrived we started Bohol Adventure with a Land Tour, it was already passed 9am, an hour late according to our guide. Anyway, we first checked out Chocolate Hills, then we went to Loboc River for the River Cruise and buffet lunch at the Riverwatch, we got to see the Busay Falls. We head off to see Tarsiers, took some pics and bought some Tarsier keychains. We had a quick stop at Bilar's Man Made Mahogany Forest where thousand of trees are planted) for picture taking. We check out the Biggest Captivity Python in the World at Albuquerque. Visit Baclayon Church and our final stop was the Hinagdanan Cave at Bingag, Panglao. We pass by Blood Compact Site but didn't bother to stop because we're running out of time, we also pass by some churches in Bohol, to name a few are Loboc Church, Albuquerque Church and Dauis Church. We arrived Alona around almost 5pm. We stayed at Bohol Diver's Resort, we settled our things and dress up for a walk at the beach and a dip at the sea. We finally had our first dinner at Trudis Place.
We slept around 10pm in preparation for our Sea tour Adventure, we should be up by 5am, we have to leave Alona at 6am, according to the spotter, we have to be at the spot early so we can see Dolphins swim, according to him Dolphin's go to the ***certain spot to feed and if we reach there late we won't see them anymore. It was a little over 8am when we set off to Balicasag Island for snorkeling and fish feeding. We stayed there for a couple of hours before we ask Manong Bangkero to bring us to Puntod Island, it was sometimes called Virgin Island. Finally, we went back to Alona for lunch. It was already around 2pm and all of us are starving. We had lunch at Captain's Grill.
beWe took 30mins nap and we walk around theach for the second time, picture taking and checking out other resort. We got to check out Alona Palm Resort, a room cost over 7K for 2 with breakfast. Way over our budget, but the place is really really haven, good facilities and the best resort we've seen along Alona Beach. We also checked out Alona Tropical, the place is peaceful and it got good ambiance, how I wish we choose to stay here. Alona Palm and Alona Tropical got the biggest and cleanest beach front, we go there for a swim. We inquired at the Alona Kew, price are a little over 3k for a room, there's a pool where you can swim after taking a dip at the sea but this side is a little bit crowded since it is located at the center of the stretch. This is where you can see all the restaurants and bars. We had dinner at Jasz Inihaw. Since we're all full, we spent few minutes star gazing before we finally call it a night. We all woke up around 6am, took a bath and packed our things. Supercat leaves at 10am. Before we finally say good bye to Bohol we took a detour at the city for the last look and bought some pasalubongs at Angel's Basket. We bought pasalubongs like calamay, chocolates and chicharon. We arrived pier at around 9am.
I so love Bohol, I plan to go back in the near future with the rest of the family. This time we won't be availing packages since it is cheaper and less hectic. I plan to stay on Alona Tropical next time. Bohol so far is the best place I've ever been.
