Bohol Sea Adventure

We woke up 30mins late from our call time so we are all in a rush to finish our breakfast noodles so we can start our sea adventure. We set sail pass 6am for our first sea adventure, the Dolphin Watching. Luckily, there are still many dolphins, I was really in awe as I've never seen dolphins up close. Our bangkero is good in spotting dolphins that's why we get to see them really close. too bad we didn't get any pictures of them. I think we spend dolphin watching for almost an hour. past 7am they started to swim away from the said spot where they are feed. The bangkero said that they go back to where they settled.
After the dolphin watching, we hop to Balicasag Island for snorkeling. We both only few breads, which I really regret. I was amazed, when I get off the boat and starts to feed fish, it's like I'm one with the fish. they swim in front of me, they are sucker for foods which makes them look more beautiful. We took a break from snorkeling and walk to check out their light house, nothing amazing. Although white sand, it's hard to walk bare foot because of the shells and rocks. Wish we bought beach shoes for more convenient walk. We swim and snorkel on their fish sanctuary. Beautiful rock corals and colorful fish, I really can't get over the snorkeling part. wish we stayed for few more hours, but the sun is up and we are all afraid of getting tanned haha. Anyways, there are only few soft corals found, but the underwater scenic is still wonders that mesmerized my eyes.
On our way back to Alona, I ask the bangkero to make a quick detour at Puntod Island. Puntod Island is also known as the Virgin Beach of Panglao. It is a small island with sandbar around it. You can tour the island in just few hours. When we reach Puntod, it is already high tide, so water just above our ankle covered the sandbar. The island was covered only with few trees and a hut which caters resting place for the bangkero, No electricity and No resorts. Just across Puntod was an island called Villa Ver, we didn't check it out already since it was already past lunchtime.
We didn't get to visit Pamilican Island as the Bangkero said it is not part in our IT. but i really regret of not going their since I heard a lot of good reviews about the island. we also didn't get to check out Dumuluan Island too, sad. Anyway, there's always next time!
